Well guess my car is old, I need to get a smog check done.

But I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to get a smog check done at.

I just got it done at one place; charged me $75 and I passed emissions, but failed the visual, thanks to the DC headers not having a carb number.

So I need to get it retested, can anyone recommend a place? thanks.

in CA you MUST have the CARB number stickers for any trick parts like the headers.
Another member had to remove his and send to factory- they put on a id plate and then they passed
Its big fine 50k dollars AND jail time to the shop owner to pass illegal cars, so dont even think you can get away with stuff
I am up north and we pay 50 retail for smog, and by looking in Penney Saver in the mail- coupons for 19.95 to 29.95 are everywhere- check yours for bargains

Run seafoam thru the intake and gas if worried about anything- but the TL, as long as the stickers are good- the emissions are so low they barely read 0 and 1 on my car.
with allowable being much higher than that.

I just got my car smog in Orange County, I have xs headers too. It cost me $45. All you need to pass visual is to have the right documentation for CARB EO. It was on the corner of Goldenwest and Westminster.
