She's tryin' to tell me somethin'!

Here's the problem.........When I start my car after not drivin' it for at least 5 hr's (mainly in the morning) after a minute both 2 VSA lights and the check engine light would all come on. I'd turn the car off and on and the check engine light would stay on(the first couple of minutes the same thing would happen but after the car warms up only the check engine's on). When the car's idling(when not warm) I could hear it miss. After a couple of days the check engine light would go off but that following morning the above would happen again. I have 70k on my car & did the dealer 60k tune, had a tranny change @ 45k and have regular oil changes, only use 91 gas, seafoamed it 2x + had the plugs changed. I did have a header leak but fixed it. Had my injen installed @40k and never had the filter cleaned. Since I had my tranny replaced, I know the signs of a faulty one and I'm not having any of those signs. Help!

Have a parts store or repair shop pull the codes

Even if you have had 1 trans failure does not mean you know all the syptoms
Go to www.acura.com and there is a complete list of what is bad and what is not.

What was the last thing you did before this problem?
Any chance of overrev- spinning wheels on ice or???

Actually it was replacing the gasket for the header leak. Before I took it for the 60k service and that's when I noticed the problem!(It actually happened b4 that but rarely)

mine does the same thing but not as frequent. i put headers on from my 99cl (03 cl-s 6 speed headers) and the o2 sensor was stuck so i put the o2 from my cl (120+k miles) on to my tl-s, well i was driving it to orlando to have it shipped to the u.k. and the cel/vsa/tcs caution light came on.. i took it to autozone and had it scanned, and it came up with a bad o2 sensor. so now im in england waiting for an o2 sensor to show up so i can change it.. but the light only comes on after i go tdy for 2 weeks and the wife drives it, then i drive it the light immediatley comes on. i guess we have different driving habbits. and the gas here sucks. and is about 8$ a gallon off base.

sorry for the long reply..

Problem seems to be fixed! The source? My throttle body cable bracket was broken so they (acura) replaced it and no more missing codes!
