Shaking at 2750-5000RPM....
When I accelerate and the RPM's reach about 2750 through roughly 5000 right before the V-Tec kicks in the car starts to shake side to sided. I've noticed it happens in 2nd, 3rd and 4rth. I can sometimes pin-point the problem in slap stick and get the car to shake on command. Everything on the car is in tip top shape. I had my wheels balanced and rotated yesterday and I also had a 4 wheel full alignment done with cambers adjusted today. I know its not from anything associated with that area. So I need to go through the elimination process and figure out what it is.
Last year March I had my transmission and engine mounts replaced. The mounts are still under warranty but I doubt its from it. I called Cush Acura (Kearny Mesa) and told them the problem, they said we got to do a diagnostic which is $97.00.
Any suggestions on what to check out?

First- understand the dealer - by law- must have a work order to look at your car- so they make a diagnosis fee of 1 to 1.5 hours for you to sign/authorize inspection.
If no work order- they are car strippers getting ready to part out your car!
If what is wrong is warranty prob- they write another work order and you pay nothing.
Check the motor mounts for free with the help of a friend
Search and there are plenty of instructions.
Parts break- even new ones
Good Luck
