RPM drop and Stall problem.

Hello

My car is 2000 TL. 96000 Mileage.

My problem is..

When I start engine, sometimes RPM drops under 500 and Engine make a big vibration. Finally, stall.
However, if I try to push gas paddle to increase rpm and keep moving a car, the engine keep working.

This frequency of this problem keep increasing.

There is no check engine light.

Mechanic in local service (not acura service) do not know why.

Is there any advice for me??

Does the engine eventually idle and run normally after it warms up? It most likely is a dirty IAC valve, which is mounted on the bottom of the throttle body. It is very easy to remove and clean with carb cleaner. You need to remove the throttle body (4 bolts) to access it.

After overcoming the situation by driving, it was okay. However, sometimes it happened again in same day.
Also, It is usually okay in the morning. ( I mean that the first starting engine of the day)
It happened when I try to start engine after driving.

Gotcha, not an IACV issue. It may be a heat soak issue (caused by winter gas), but I doubt your gas station still has winter gas this late in April. I have this problem with winter gas, but not during this time. I will see this problem again in October.

yesterday my car was fine with 3 consecutive trips, both with ard 15-20mins stop interval, I had no starting issues.

I will see whether I will encounter this again. If not, my problem is caused by winter gas.

your problem is likely clogged egr system
the intake manifold must be removed and egr ports/passage cleaned every 75kmiles
See the diy section

most techs wont think of this- unless a TL specialist
other cars dont have the same prob we do in this area

Well May is just around the corner and I seriously doubt there is any winter gas out there. If your problem disappears in the upcoming weeks and returns in the fall, then you know it is a winter gas issue. And the only cheap remedy is to either purge the gas line to the tank after engine shut off....or do what another member here did a while back: install a timed fan in the engine bay to cool the gas line.
