Reupholstering interior

So I have an 03 tl-s navi, and the seats are quite warn. im out in oregon where theres not too much sun but the original owners were in cali. but to the point, part of the drivers seat is starting to show signs of cracking. has anyone reupholstered seats themselves before? i was thinking i wanna get microfiber because its never too hot or cold. any thoughts anyone? i didnt know where else to post this...

i have an old school book (has black/white pics) that goes thru reupholstering interiors. ill try to bring it into work tomorrow and make a pdf out of it. PM me your email address and I'll send it over. Let me know if its of any assistance. I have a 93 integra I'm thinking of redoing so I found this book at the thrift store and havent opened it yet. Best of luck. Post the transformation!

It would be something different and comfortable for you.

It's all about if you want to take the time/money to get it done. You can always try and find a TL in a junkyard and swipe the driver's seat.

it's funny because before this car i had an isuzu trooper and i told myself not to get a small car with leather. 3 months later what do you know? haha. im not a big fan of leather. plus out here in oregon when it gets cold it sucks when you dont park in the garage!

If you're in the Portland area, I highly recommend Beaverton Upholstery, they do an excellent job of cloth/leather repair. Maybe you can get heated cloth seats

i have the book w/me now. later on i'll make it into a pdf.. but i agree with jterrorc.. keep the seats! as i was ripping the book apart to get ready to scan it.. i noticed how much effort goes into getting the seats done right. if anything.. check and see how much it would cost to repair what you already have. what color interior do you have?
