replace headlight bulbs
my headlight went out and foglight so I just purchased replacement bulbs from Autozone for about $39. How do you replace them? How long will it take? Do I need any special tools? Can anyone help me... I decided to try to do this by myself to save some $$ since everything at the dealer is expensive.

was it your high beams that went out? becuase our (lowbeam) headlights are H.I.D.s and i dont belive autozone carries them (especialy not for $39). also if they all went at ones i dont think the bulbs are the problem. a fuse might have blown.

As said above- what bulbs did they sell you- ours are $65 per for the low beams-
special HID bulbs Phillips 4100K recommended
the high beams you can use Sylvania Surperstars or similar
Just remove everything blocking your hand (with skin) from the back of the headlight housing, then its a 1/4 turn fitting or a metal clip- you will see, remove- replace bulb- WARNING not touching of the bulb with bare fingers- hand oils ruin the bulb- use gloves or wipe bulb with rubbing alcohol on paper towel before putting back into place.

You can buy 2 kaixen brand for that price from Excelerate- a vendor here
or look on ebay for some Phillips D2R- make sure NEW only- not "used with life left in them"- those bite! and not in a good way~
Its smart to replace them in pairs as the other one will soon die too and the brightness will be different and the color and the yadayada
Just look in Off Topic- Sponsored Sales and call Josh direct for immediate service
Thats the right price for a dealer one- but unless you are stuck without---
