replace driver's door

before I start this job, does anyone know if it can be done without first removing the left front fender to get at the hinges?

Hi Bob,
What's with that?
Wanted to replace the worn hinges on my Sienna; same story
I remember replacing the driver's door on my mom's Pinto when I was about 17.
Did not have to touch the fender.
If they knew how to design cars back then that were easy to work on, are they just dicking us around now?

sorry, you are saying it can be done without removing the front fender?
because in the post at the end you talk about having to align the fender which requires access to some hidden bolts

At the end where I'm talking about aligning the fender is only to set the fender to the door gap bc his gap was tight at the bottom.

Just to be clear, changing the door only is no. No need to remove the fender.

Changing the hinges is yes, remove the fender.

take one off at a time, that way you dont have to remove the door.
