The mounting spring is available separately, pn#76419-SZ3-J05. It's only about $3; probably special order. That's all mine needed before the original mirror failed. Did you recently have your windshield replaced? It's pretty common, and if so, they should fix it free of charge. You are talking about your inside mirror, aren't you?

No the windshield has not been replaced. I was driving down the road and was adjusting it and it just fell off...I can get it popped back up there but wont stay on long

Sounds like the spring or the screw that holds the spring to the mirror.

did the glass mounted tab part come off?
or where the mirror pivots on its arm failed?

a brand new mirror with improved auto dim -can be found at a few of our sponsoring dealers for half of retail,,= 75$

If your mirror has spots or a large oval forming in the center or lower portion-
replace entire mirror ASAP
hazardous material is inside,, and a major pitA to clean from leather when it explodes!!
see `rearview mirror exploded` thread

I need to replace the rear view mirror and the “sunglass/interior light control” plastic box in the headliner they ripped out. Where is the best place to find those parts. Any after market websites for Honda Acura parts?

I found mine at pick a part. if you find the part number on the parts websites, and search google for that part number some sites like ebay may have some for sale.

what year/color are you looking for?

Thanks for reaching out. Black rear view mirror and white (?) plastic compartment. I will try the pick a part method you suggest.
Thanks
