yep. Me and a buddy were doing my front brakes (rotors+pads) and it all went smoothly. Took her for a test drive and realized it was stopping WORSE than before. So, we hop out to have a look around and realize that my rear passenger side brake line is pissing fluid. We managed to get the car home OK without using the brake so now it's just sitting. I called up a dealer to ask what size line I would need and they "couldn't" tell me but it was $150 for parts. So basically, what size line and fitting do I need, and how much, to do both rear lines? Or is $150 a reasonable price? Thanks guys.

If you're still using the original brake lines, you should just replace as much as possible since there will likely be more leaks along the brake lines since they are probably rusted, etc. by now. Don't just replace the lines by the wheel wells. There are long lines under the car and through the firewall to the master cylinder.

Stupid question I know but you mean hose or the actual brake line? If its the actual brake line then just order it new from dealer it will/should come in right size (diameter and length), with correct bends and fittings but of course confirm this; do not try and create your own if you dont have right tools and experience.

It's the actual metal brake line that's leaking I should have clarified. We've flared and bent lines before and I have a place that will loan me a flare kit. $150 just seems kind of steep when I can buy a roll for alot cheaper.
