This RATTLE is driving my crazy

so i put on my xs headers and 2 weeks goes by nohting then all of a sudden a fucking rattle appears i take off all my heat shields and still any one have nay ideas cause this thing is driving me nuts

check bolts.. and o2 sensor is on good..

check flex pipes...

RPM of when rattle happens.. when.. where.. speed.. etc etc..

can't just say rattle happens and figure it out for me..

where does the rattle come near from...

it sounds like from the front of the car usually when i drive and in gear. around 2.5 rpm when i hold it.

resonance, get header wrap, only doing it when drive because theres load on the whole powertrain....but i didnt notice many people had resonance with the xs headers..other will chime in soon

Sounds like a resonance issue. i wold suggest getting under the car loosening all the header bolts then retightening them. Most get resonance when they are forced together even the slightest.

sounds like a resonance problem, some aftermarket headers are just prone to having this issue due to stretching, bending and welding of the pipes compared to a factory cast iron manifold.

take it to an exhaust shop to replace flex pipe with better one... if all else failssss

I had resonace around there too, but when I put the magnaflows on it went away.
