today i saw a blue spark near the ash tray den my radio went off...it wont turn back on anymore..so i was wondering if any of u guys would know wat is wrong wid it or have any idea wat possible is wrong wid it..let me know thanks

 

Something shorted. Either take it to the dealer and get one replaced under warranty, take it out and try to find the short yourself and repair it, or just go ahead and begin hooking up the I.C.E (in-car-entertainment). More than likely, the dealer will just say its shorted and tell you that you need a new radio. They usually don't repair it, just R&R. You should be able to repair that though, sounds to me like it would either be a fuse or a broken wire. Anything else internal in the radio and you would have never seen that spark.

 

yeah..dats wat i was thinking too but i needed feedback on wat could of possibly caused that spark...let me know...if anyone else think is wrong wid that radio..tomorrow ima take it out and try to fix it myself...thanks ahead of time
