Radio Error Code not working

Acura TL 2002. Computer was reset at the mechanic due to engine mounts replacements. Radio requested to enter a code I did entered the navi system first & the navi worked. Then it asked for another code, I entered the radio code and nothing, I entered the anti theft code and nothing. It keeps asking for codes. After 9 attempts it won't let me enter any code and it says "ErrorE".

Had the same issue in my TL. What's guaranteed to work is you go in an underground parking lot, or an underpass, anywhere where your radio signal is blocked or is choppy. Then enter the code, it'll work.

If you don't have any mountains or any underground lots nearby, you can also just pull apart the center console and pull out the radio antenna from the stereo, then put in the code.

Next time before you know the battery is going to be disconnected, tune your radio to an AM station that does not come through and is just static. Then turn the radio off and you won't need to go underground to punch in the codes after you reconnect the battery terminals.

Radio Error Code Issue

I had the exact same issue after replacing the tranny in my '03 TL. I tried the reset code and the code the dealer gave me. The Acura dealer couldn't even figure it out. He said Honda makes it impossible to steal those radios - even for the owner!
After going down every avenue, I ended up buying an after-market radio and had it put in. It's not quite the same sound as the Bose, but it works! Cost me around $200 for parts and installation. The speakers are still in great condition and didn't have to ground it. I hate to say it, but you'll probably have to break down and get an after-market radio. eBay sells them at a decent price; no additional amp required.
Good luck!
