quick question: 07-08 base rear or type-s rear fits on 04-06 models right?

quick question: 07-08 base rear or type-s rear fits on 04-06 models right?
i had a brain fart and backed into a parking pole and damaged rear bumper and the type-s bumper cover on 06 TL. i need to replace both pieces, thought about buying an actual 07 type-s base bumper w/ type-s bumper cover.....is the 07 bumpers going to fit on 06?
