Does anyone know what a good price is to have all four rotors and brake pads replaced for a 2002 TL-S. I recently paid $436. I wonder how much the stealer would have charged? Anyway, did I get ripped off?

That would depend on the brand of parts
.....but the labor.... just for the rears is a pain because the parking brake is a
mini set of drum brakes located INSIDE the center hub of the rear rotor, and if the guy doesnt know that... and you have to adjust the park brakes properly which may take a few tries
I have a lot more than
invested in my brakes!

i recently replaced my front brakes. New brembo blanks with akebono pads
cost me roughly $200 for parts alone
labor was free since I did them

Careful with some of those ebay rotors and crossdrilled ones especially
There are enough opinions here that have narrowed down the good brakes to a few brands. Brakes are very important IMO- a fast car needs even faster stopping ability

Stealership would of been something like that for just pads and resurfacing two of your rotors and changing your pads close to around 300 and change. So it all depends but it seems like you had a fair deal there.

Well I bought front and rear break pads, slotted drilled rotors, and stainless steel brakelines for $420 from Trinet Brake System from Ebay. So I guess you got a semi good deal.

Don't buy OEM rotors - they tend to warp after just a few hard stops. Many posts here about that.
I read some posts here, went to tirerack and read some reviews and then ordered from them. I took the rotors and pads to a local indy who installed for 1 hr. labor so that was $60 (fronts only) . I think they were PowerSlots - work very good and do not show any rust, however after sveral e-stops (a lot of deer around here) and many miles they eventually warped as well, not quite as bad as the OEM's. I'll probably do all 4 this summer and will probably go with Tirerack again.
