Power Steering Leak

I've been having a rather costly issue of constantly having to buy power steering fluid. My car rides fine except when I have to make a turn which is important, I have noticed that my reservoir has been building a lot of pressure, when I take the cap off (I made one since the oem cap seems to fly off) a big explosion of air comes out. One of the only places it leaks is under the reservoir but occasional leaks to the right of the engine too, but it could be something else. Should I just buy a new Power Steering pump or could it be another issue?

Pressure is usually caused by excess heat, over filling or a kinked return line. Be sure the lines are free and clear running to and from the reservoir and that you only fill it to the fill line. If those are fine, plan to replace the pump soon, it'll likely just bust open and spew fluid everywhere randomly. Nothing catastrophic though, just a big mess to clean up but you can still drive anywhere with a bit more effort while turning.

Maybe your pump seals need a rebuild
