power loss when accelerating

Hello everyone, let me tell ya'll what is happening to my car. Power loss when accelerating. It is a 2003 Acura tl. 3.2. It will drive for 20-30 minutes then it starts to act up on me. I come to a full stop and turn the car off then on again and it will drive for a few miles and it does it again. check engine light does come on, it will not come on untill the car starts to act up. I hope someone here can help me out with some info. thx

could be trans failing??
--clogged torque convertor screens after 30 minutes,,let it sit and they self clear as crud falls back down,,,allows further operation...

whats the atf look like and smell..red or brown or black,,atf smell or burnt sugar
Ever change the fluid?

or do you mean engine actually loses power--stumbles- stutters, wont idle,
need more description than ~its messed up~

with Ck eng light/CEL you will get codes
parts stores will get those out of the cars brain for you,,, free!!!
report those back--they are clues not a diagnosis
