My engine light came on and i had it check after changing the oil. It came up PO700. Transmission control system malfunction. I have a 03 TL Type s 3.2. When i bought it in 08 the tranny went out on me and luckly i got a new one from the dealership under warranty. haven't had any problems until this. The only thing i can tell may be wrong, is that in the mornings It will take literally a second or two to shift into drive from Park. Otherwise it runs fine. My question is, is it okay to drive for now until i get some money saved up to pay for someone to get in there and find out why the light came on. I know some codes are more serious than others. And also I checked the tranny fluid and it was all good.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Drifting
It's probably ok to drive.
Correction any cel first.
Do a 3x3 and ATF filter change if ATF is dirty or burnt.
And if the trans is still shifting late, you might want to try the following:
1. Replace Shift Solenoid C
2. Replace Pressure A/B Solenoid. Check for debris in the 3 small pipes underneath. Replace the 3 O-rings and gasket.
3. Replace the Pressure C Solenoid. Clean the screen underneath.
4. Check for a damaged shift cable or a cable out of adjustment.
