Please Help
This isnt about a TL but I need some help solving the problem. My stupid a$$ friend tried to make a homemade intake and put a paper cup over the resonator hole. He drives a Mazda MX-6 2.0 I-4. Well in his experiment he sucked up a nickel sized piece of the cup into the intake manifold and then who knows where else it ended up. The car runs fine exept at idle. When driving it you wouldnt know there was a problem till you stopped at a redlight and then it just sputters and dies. Does anyone know what part of the motor this could be hung in? I did a compression test for him and the compression is fine so maybe it isnt a valve. I cleaned the throttle body and sprayed carb clean into the intake manifold. Any suggestions? I have to help him fix it.
