Hi TLers :

Has anyone been able to find just the plastic end pieces for the wiper “rod units” ? It seems a waste to buy the whole rod when the only thing worn out is the plastic end connectors.

To answer my own request, you can't just change the plastic rod ends because, they are somehow bonded to the metal. I tried remove one of the good ends and it simply won't come off. I even tried to cut the retaining ring off with a utility knife and still couldn't remove it !!

So, that's why you have to buy the whole thing.
