@01acls, Thanks for that great info! That just saved me tons of further headache because as of yesterday, my srs light had also popped up and stayed on.

Thanks 01acls. Pulled the code and it's the same code 15-3....anyways, I cleared the code and slap a batter charger on the battery and charge it over night. No more code. This is a brand, spanking NEW battery. I took the car to AutoZone for them to test the alternator and the alternator is good. They also tested the battery and it's good.
Something in the car is slowly bleeding my battery power?? The only thing is a small amplifier to power my small sub woofer. I disconnected the power to the amp hopefully this will fix the battery power leaking issue. I can leave without music (or bass from the sub).

So I just called my dealership. They said that the recall and the SRS light is 2 completely different issues. I still have yet to bring it in because there is a national backorder on the recall part.

That is correct. Now you understand what's going on.

the recall is about the airbag inflator parts.
Its going to take a while to make millions of new parts- once they really have a fix,,not like the 2 or 3 times it usually takes to fix a recall~

the lifetime warranty or special extended warranty covers SRS parts like the OPDS = Occupant Position Detection System in passenger seat- a popular failure
