pedal shakes at high speed

pedal shakes at high speed

say im doin like only 60-80 which is really not high speeds at all, my pedals start to shake.

could it be just some screws or something else? this cant be related to my shocks can they?

naw, i know what warped rotors are. these arnt warped. warped rotors you can feel when you brake. im not braking.

also, my car is salvaged, that might help in detering your answer.

Well salvaged doesnt always mean its been thru hell and back but heck I've been having this soft brake pedal now and my car is salvaged who knows lol damn that previous owner didnt tell me it had a title and damny myself for not checking..but heck why not have it checked it out anyways by a mechanic if it bothers you.

Warped rotors- Ive been working on Acuras for 7 years now. What you are feeling is the warped parts of the rotor sliding past your brake pad every revolution. Have them turned if they are still in specs= Problem solved
Balance of tire issue felt in steering wheel at hwy speeds Very rarely in brake pedal

Braking vibration

If you step on the brake pedal at high speed and note vibration on the steering wheel ONLY, then the FRONT rotors are warped.

If the vibrations are mainly from the pedal, the REAR rotors are warped. Either way, it could be replaced under warranty or the dealer could just turn the rotors if allowable to spec.

If you plan to keep the car for a while, the OEM rotors are known to be no good so your best bet are aftermarket rotor replacements.
