well heres the deal, my passenger headlight flickers, it stays on/bright, but it flickers at random, quick flickers sometimes dimmed a lot, sometimes barely. anyone know what would cause that?

 

Metal halide bulbs will do this when they near end-of-life, but this can also be caused by a failing ballast. Try swapping the bulbs around and if the problem persists, it is a ballast. If the driver's side then flickers, it's the bulb.

goodbye headlight.....lookin at $180 buckz, but then your headlights will look different if you have a new one and an old one...so your probably gonna have to buy two...
