Hey guys, my co-worker recently had a problem with his 00 TL and was wondering what could have caused it.

Last night he took it to the car wash, brought it home and parked it in his garage.

He put the parking brake on and went to bed. Garage was warm temp. was around 15 C so the brakes couldn't have frozen. Next morning when he tried to release the parking brake the rear ones didn't release. He said he had to take off the wheels and hit the parking brake and it eventually released.

Question is why did this happen? and should he get a mechanic to check it out? He has tried using the Pbrake since then, and has reported no problems.
