P1457 Code - Evap Canister Leak
Hey everyone!
I have a P1457 code on in my 2001 TL. A shop informed me it is the evap canisters that are leaking. I want to fix it myself so I would like to know if anyone has done this before so they can give me advice. And if anyone knows where to order the parts that would be amazing. Thanks!

ck our DIY section, its near top of main thread list `New Official gen2 DIY`
If you need new parts from dealer, ck those in the Vendor listings, they support this forum and cut us a break of ~25% on parts!
always mention acurazine when calling or sending PM

odd, maybe in a thread but not the diy list- it happens
try an outside search engine with evap canister + 01 acura TL + acurazine.com
if that doesn't pull anything from our forum, drop the +azine and search again
Eric the car guy on youtube has a vid on most repairs
Possibly the cans don't really go bad = is why no diy?? mechanics using codes to diagnose things are often wrong

Right here:

Did it myself a couple of months ago. Replaced both the canister and shut valve and the two very rusted screws.
