Open trunk button dsnt work

Open trunk button dsnt work

I have an 2003 tl-s and my open trunk button dsnt work and I also tried it on an 03 cl-s and it dsnt work on that model either is it just a fuse or sumthing I can quick fix?

you have checked the switch inside the glove box right?

Wat switch is that? I looked in the glove box and there's an on off switch for the light I believe

Negative, that switch is for the trunk release button.

more specifically for the valet parkers (hence the valet key does not open the glove box or the backseat trunk access)

put your valuables in the trunk, lock the back seat, turn off the trunk switch and lock the glove box and you are save

AZ scores another win!

I'm almost embarrassed to say I had the same problem (suddenly door switch wouldn't open the trunk) and thought I was going to have to tear the door apart.

First stop -- AcuraZine.

In less than 5 minutes I found this thread, and it all became clear. I had forgotten about that switch. And I changed the pollen filter last weekend... and must have flipped it without realizing it.

I don't post a lot, but thought I'd just reply here and thank all of you that contribute. This is a wonderful resource for folks like me.
