One headlight not working

One headlight not working
I have a 2003 TL-S, I searched but I was not able to come up with anything, sorry if this has been discussed.
OK, so both of my headlights go out, I take it to Acura and they want to charge an arm and a leg for new ballast/bulbs. I buy the new ballast and bulbs and install them, now my driver side headlight works but my passenger side does not. I switched the ballast/bulbs and it seems to be the wiring. I assume it's not a fuse because the driver side works. Any idea what this could be? I'm about ready to put in an HID harness so it can pull directly from the battery to fix this problem but if I can avoid taking off the bumper again I will.

fuse- relay- short in wire
odd to have both side fail at the same time
Usually one bulb goes from age or moisture inside the housing,,then the other follows in a month
or one bulb and ballast from same moisture- it drips onto the ballast
do you have any moisture leaking inside the lens?

Both headlights actually run on its own fuse so change out the fuse for the broken headlight to see if that fixes it. The fuse is located in the fusebox under the hood. Happened to me too. If it still doesn't work, I would try unplugging everything and replugging it to make sure everything is in correctly and tight.

agree= many fuses and relays are the same, so swap them and see what happens
acura always wants to replace all the parts,,only way to be sure its fixed!
we can buy aftermarket ballast-- that are even waterproof- for way less
