Odd Buzzing sound while accelerating
Hey,
I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to help me out with this..
I have a 2003 TL-S with 116k on it. Just bought the car two months ago. Trans was replaced through honda, have all the paper work...
So basically I realized that when u start the car and accelerate past 5mph it makes this buzzing sound for abt a second, than does it once again when u hit 10mph. on the first buzzing sound u can feel it in the gas pedal, kinda like a little vibration, second one u cant feel it at all.
This only happens when u start the car and drive... if u drive around and dont shut it off and than start to drive again it doesnt do it....
Anyone with a clue out there as to what this strangeness can b.. please respond.
Thank you all for your time

I thought it was 5 and 15 but it definetly is the ABS doing its `first start of the day` self-test
register as a new owner with `acura care` and ask if all the recalls are taken care of
1 800 382 2238 x5 gets a human
also at www.owners.acura.com need VIN for both of those
You can download a free owner manual there, and safely store the radio/nav security codes for future referance = when the battery is changed
Welcome to the forum and its group of acura nuts!!

Thank you all very much for your quick response.. i had an 01 Tl that never made that sound. So when i upgraded to the 03 i found it very odd that it was makin that sound.. ppl told me it might have something to do with a solenoid on the trans..

now we use the front brake calipers for the 1995 legend,, as a cheap upgrade to dual pistons!
If its more than a quick noise at those speeds- there may be other things wrong,
a cv joint noise as you turn and back out of the driveway, or enter a dip from curb to street? never hurts to ck the brakes and nearby parts under the car
trees work as decellerative devices, but brakes are cheaper

may not have set the bolt torque correct on those parts
too tight when applied with air gun,
no torque wrench bringing them carefully up to spec~
