Noob question
Noob question
I'm not new to the honda game. I've had quite a few of the ek hatches. Eg coupes and things like that. I just recently bought a 2000 tl. And I love it. Now I have just a few questions. And I already feel really stupid asking so please no negative comments.
1. Which drive to put the car in? D5 or d4?
2. Does anyone know where I can get some aftermarket parts? Headlights? Maybe some inspire rear logos.
3. I fixed my radio and things and now I have a check engine light of P1768 Acura - A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve. So im asking what that is and where is it located
I just recently took off my gold grill and replaced it with a chrome one. But first took it apart and made the trims flood black and the grill inserts matte. Always just finished doing my own DIY black housing headlights. I'm not sure how to post pics yet but when I figure it out I'll share. Thank you again.

City Driving = D4 unless you are going anywhere above 50mph don't put it on D5 as the car will go into 5th gear on low throttle above 40mph and if you have to quickly overtake the car will take forever to quickly downshift to 3rd.. on D4 it will do the same but the car will feel a lot more responsive you can even overtake on 4th gear easily! Remember that 5th gear is our second overdrive gear.
(Hint: You can shift into any "D" while driving no need to stop to change D4,D3,etc. it also applies if you want to up from D4 to D5). So if you are cruising around town and you end up going down a ramp into a highway just pop the lever into D5 and feel the joys of an Automatic Transmission shifting into 5th.
Highway or anything above 50mph = D5 always!
D3 = Heavy Tow (Yes you can do that) or going up a steep climb
D2 = Usually Unnecessary
D1 = TOTALLY Unnecessary, Unless you are Drag Racing = Gate Shifting = Better than SS Mode.
FYI: Since the "D"s only mark a limiting gear our trans doesn't work as the Domestics which means that if you Pop "D2" it doesn't mean the car will start rolling on Second Gear as almost all Domestics..
It just means that the trans will not go anywhere beyond 2nd gear but will still hit 1st gear automatically.
