NO AC in sunny Florida

My AC just went out yesterday. The fan blows but compressor is not kicking in. It seems to still have pressure. I attached an old bottle of freon to the low side with a gauge attached & it read read @ 60lbs. but since the compressor wont kick in I think the reading is not too accurate. Does anyone know where the plug is located that I can jump to kick in the compressor to test? I also noticed the condenser fan is not running, it is not getting power. I supplied power to the fan and it does work, just not getting power to it. Thank you in advance

that may be why compressor wont come on- fan isnt working and is required for that system
Ck relay for the fan, swap it with another of same color

beyond that--who are the AC gurus?

I just discovered the condensor fan fuse was blown. I swear I checked that one yesterday. What would cause this fuse to go?
Thanks

short in its wiring. loose wire, bad ground wire
fuses blow to protect from overvolts too
