newbie help

So I just traded my motorcycle for a 2000 tl. We traded in miami, I put 300 miles on the car with no problems. As I was driving it back to orlando on the highway about an hour in tranny fluid was leaking on the drivers side.it leaked all over the side of the car and the people who were following behind me. I thought it was the axle seal so I replaced them both. Back on the highway and about an hour into the drive same thing happened.

Does this mean my differential bearing is gone?
What else could it be?
Axle?

As long as the car is not on the highway it does not leak. I drove the car for 2 hours running errands and no leaks but as soon as I.drive on the highway for an hour or two there goes all the tranny fluid.

Please help thanx in advanced

Have you located the source of the leak? There should be a big oily spot on the tranny itself!!

First Hint!: Check just right of the dipstick for the breather tube! Almost beneath the Battery, If your using anything other than HONDA ATF it must be foaming and leaking at high speed trough there (Been there with AMSOIL).

I was using penzoil atf. The fluid is all over the driverside wheel well, drivers door, radiator support, and tranny

There arent many spots where the tranny can Leak...
If you just replaced the Axle Seals then there are just about the Dipstick or the Breather Tube
Also the range switches and sensors but thats a long long Shot...
Finally: The Tranny could be leaking by the case itself = DEAD.

Like I said check beneath the battery for the Breather Tube!

AND ALSO! GET RID OF PENZOIL ATF!!! USE ONLY HONDA DW-1 !!!

I looked in the Manual but cant seem to find a clear Pic for it...

But like I said just look beneath the Battery Tray Holder, Remove the Battery and Remove its holding plate and you should see a little tube coming out of the tranny going Nowhere (Its a Breather Tube!) if its the reason your leaking it should be soaked in ATF...
