Hi all,

I got this new centric powerslot rotor for my 03 TL. UPS handling of packages is not great from my experience. On top of that amazon sent the rotor in its original manufacturer box directly with no outer packaging.

I see this crack/scratch on the inner surface of the rotor. This will come in contact with the pads. Will this be a problem?

Also I see some small pits like this along the outer edge. But I guess the pad will not contact this area of the rotor, isn't it?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

 

First pick should not be an issue since its probably just a scratch that will dissapear in time.

Second pick shows me flaws in casting and It show how low end the rotors are.. From this alone I would send them back and get a new set.

Hi NBP04TL4ME, thank you for your response. The pictures don't open when you click on them. I am not sure why. But if you right click and choose open in new tab/window I believe you can see them.

 

Will have to try on my PC later. On my iPad now.

 

They second pic looks like it has two chips in them which might scratch the brake pads.

That can be solved by returning the rotors and ask them to send you a shipping to return them.
