There are no spark plug wires. Is do a fuel treatment like seafoam and seafoam the engine thru the vac line. Get the NGK plugs as well and do them after the seafoaming

Shouldn't need oil pump-
Don't flush the transm.- change fluid 3x, look in DIY section for details. Repl. ext. filter.

Air filter, cabin filters.

I think he mistyped--use NGK Iridium IX sparkplugs

coolant is at 7 year -yes
brake fluid -yes and every year flush it
ps fluid - yes
aft - 3qts with honda atf ONLY, your choice new or old stuff, ask the parts desk about them and the above mentioned secret `external filter`

seafoam instantly removes years of crud thru the vac port method, no shop needed- easy diy if you own a socket set to remove plastic engine cover and a pair of pliers
ck out the diy section- see pics

or use 2 cans in gas tank, 1 added when just below half tank,,run down to the low level light- and refill to half tank
(3 gallon remaining at light On, tank holds 17.3 total)

add 2nd can to just under half tank

that actually gets more places cleaned than just using vac port method so both combined give max results
takes 300+ miles of driving to work fully with gas method,,doing a trip somewhere is the best time--heat and time are seafoams friend

also clean the TB air plate and its pivot hinge with carb cleaner or deep creep--do that with engine air filter replacement

cabin filter with antimicrobe whatevers added- 20 dollars- will make your lungs happy!

see DIY section for all the tips and tricks

the timing belt is due on time of 7 years,,the miles suggested is 105,,but its whatever is first
be aware of the 1000$ cost of that job

you can add a lightweight crankshaft pulley then, the pulley is removed for tbelt job so no extra charge-
or done seperate at a shop its 40-60 dollars install of the pulley

By going from 10 down to 2 pounds!! on the end of a rotating mass- the revs can easily get up much quicker to the 4000s where vtec kicks in- valve timing and duration changes- more air and fuel goes thru... and it runs fast...~

our sponsor Excelerate has them in regular drive size, and `underdrive`, Bomz brand is popular on the lower cost end for comparison

no trans flush, just drain n fill multiple times(3), coolant flush and/or powersteering flush. i would just drain and fill thr power steering, but a flush doesnt hurt. deep creep TB, 2 can seafoam method in gas, brake flush( if you need pads/rotors put them on first).

if your drive belts are cracked or brownish, replace the Tbelt; or if you know for a fact the timing hasent been done. i would recommend getting a OE size lightweight pulley vs UD. believe xceler8(sorry for the mispell) did have some, check with other members. OE size keeps the system running "normal", the UD limits what you can do.

then time to mod

a few clarifiers to the above 2 post

a ps fluid drain and refill- done twice with engine running and fluid coming out the return line as you turn wheels lock to lock,,and into a catch bucket= counts as ps flush and is a good idea
Sludge and gum buildup after 7 to 10 years can be a major danger to the seals in steering system

Brake fluid: should be flushed every year!! every 2 at least! simple diy -saves expensive calipers and master cyl from bad fluid wearout
wiki `hygroscopic` for what happens as moisture is sucked right from the atmosphere and into the hydraulic/oil fluids

do the fluid change BEFORE pads and rotor job
The idea being get rid of contaminated fluid,, rather than backwash it thru the system when compressing caliper pistons, causing micro rust particles to be washed around = not good

our vendor/sponsor Excelerate had special made- the stock size pulley in light design

the under-drive lightweight is fine up to adding a `600 watt stereo`,,above that watts/amps, the alternator is running a little too slow at idle--to recharge the battery as soon as stereo drains it

everyone else wont notice the slight drop in ac performance at idle--
like you get great ac without airflow moving thru grill~
and ps isnt at work at idle

I would NOT go all 3 pullies in underdrive--stick only with crankshaft for best results

thanks for all your guy's help. i did get a 60k service done it was much easier for me to start with that, the price was 200 they flushed all fluids and replaced with OEM honda/acura fluids, oil change, air filter change, rotate tires and brake inspection. the car now runs much smoother but i need to install my own ngk IX plugs im hoping this will give it a nice quiet and smooth idle. it's still not giving me a super quiet and smooth idle, i did put 1 can of sea foam into the oil fill and drove it in high 2nd and high 3rd as one person posted to heat up the debris and gunk right before i dropped the car off so they can change it out. i still need to do the gas tank and vaccuume line. any other ideas why the idle might not sound smooth and quiet it's not that bad really but it's not a perfectly quiet idle. I.E. my 97 lexus ES 300 with 200k idled quieter than the 03 TL S. ??

seafoam in oil: 1.5 oz per qt oil, add and drive 30 minutes to allow time and heat to liquify sludge
Be sure engine is still hot or keep running belfore change so crud stays liquid

no reason to blast around for oi

ON vac port method you do blast after,,pls read the diy again

fuel tank- 1 can seafoam to just under half tank of gas

Welcome to the Family

Take a look at your brake pads while doing a through update on the vehicle. I had to do the same thing with a TL I purchased last year after my previous TL was totaled. ...the upfront work paid-off nice dividends throughout the year as I was never second guessing myself on whether something was operating effectively or not.

Most of my parts come from G1 Parts (https://www.g1parts.com/ for Honda Parts) or Mag Auto (http://www.magauto.com/ for Acura Parts) depending if I can use a standard Honda part (no shipping fees charged) or if it needs to be a genuine Acura part (minimal shipping fee). Both of these vendors have been great to work with (besides not paying tax on genuine parts with great prices)
