Need your Help on my 99 Acura TL!!!

So recently my car was going through the air control valve issue.I needed to replace the entire part(Idle control valve) I did my research on how to change it and it was running fine. before that i got a did new oil change as well...

So now there is smoke coming from the engine.
Like something is burning obviously...when i changed the oil i didn't spill anything on the car i had a funnel to help me put the oil in.soo now im not really sure what causing the problem! this wasn't happening before the idle control issue.

My last option is to go to a shop....
i got some pics to where the smoke is coming from...a lot of gunk you can see...should i clean it? spray it with anything?
help guys?!
Thanks!

When you changed the oil you might of spilled some oil on the exhaust manifold cover.

Yup what Nick said.
Tip: cleaning will be a waste of time, you need to change you valve cover gaskets (Both) and since the intake has to come off might as well do the EGR cleaning.

Check out the 2nd Gen's "DIY" sticky for common problems and fixes.
The EGR passageway cleaning should be explained in full detail, good luck !
