Need to replace trunk latch motor

Well, my trunk will no longer latch, and I've narrowed the problem down to the motor. When I hit the trunk open button in the door, or on the remote, the motor will make a slight click, but will not move. It looks to be pretty simple to swap the parts out, but i want to check to see if any of you guys have tried this before.

Are there any complications that may arise? Mainly, I'm worried about not being able to use the remote if I get a new motor. The receiver for the remote is located in the car, not the motor right? So replacing the motor shouldn't effect my ability to pop the trunk with the remote?

Thanks for your help guys, this is really frustrating me, I can't afford to leave my trunk unsecured for too long, but I don't want to pay the dealer an arm and a leg to fix something that I could fix myself.
