Need Help for Radiator Fan Control trouble shooting

for used 2003 TL; both condensor and radiator fan turn on when ignitor is on II position. I followed TL service manual for radiator and condensor fan circuit troubleshooting E.
1. remove condensor fan relay - tested to be ok.
4. remove radiator fan relay
6. disconnnect radiator fan control A; turn ignition to II. fan not running anymore. so it says to replace radiator fan control A.

my question is: after step 1, I didn't put condensor fan relay back. is this correct ? the reason I am asking is if during step 1 if I put condensor fan relay back, step 4 and 6 will still result fan running. the question sounds silly so please understand I am not confident of my English especially when reading service manual. thanks

( I skipped step 2/3/5 as it seems my engine doesn't have Control C under radiator)

PS. if during step 1 if I put condensor fan relay back, step 4 and 6 will still result fan running. in this case it could be "to repair a short in the whire between radiator fan relay terminal 4 and condensor fan relay terminal 4"; so to put condensor fan relay back or not during step 1 ?

what are the actual symptoms of your problem?
not staying at just below half when at stoplights?

with engine running- does driver side fan run after a few minutes sitting- when warm
runs 15-60 seconds and turn off
does passenger side fan turn on with AC on?
do both fans run if the temp is exceeding half?

after engine shutdown does driver fan run for 5 minutes or more--15-30 minutes?
or just a few minutes or not at all?

the temp gauge should be dead steady once warmed up

fan control temp sensor A is a common failure,,it may be easiest to grab one and install rather than scratching your head with codes and charts

Make sure to `burp` the cooling system afterwards- a small amount of air gets in and that's bad
make sure heater set to HOT with fan on high and window-door open while burping rad

my bad - all is ok now

I got a "new" 2003 TL with navigation; didn't know AC was on and hence both fans was turned on when ignition was on II position. once AC was turned off the "issue" was gone, nothing wrong with relay, switch, or short circuit.

I also mistaken coolant temperatur sensor (next to upper coolant hose) as radiator fan control switch (under lower hose) when troubleshooting.

still learning ..... thanks.

remember to register with acura care 1 800 328 2238x5 have VIN handy
ask if all recalls are taken care of
download free owner operating book at www.owners.acura.com
and can store radio and nav codes there safely

we all learn thru trial and error- if it did not result in death, its not a mistake = its just a learning experience

those cabin air filters are supposed to be replaced every year, more if you live in high dust-freeway construction areas with crud flying everywhere
a few makers have antibacterial, anti bad smell added - ck wallyworld for good price
