Need help

Okay here's the score.

Car started missing so I took it to Autozone and put on the machine. They said it was an EGR flow problem and all 6 cyclinders were misfiring.

I changed the EGR valve, cleaned out the ports in the manifold and changed the plugs just in case.

The car shows no difference, still missing.

What would be your next step?

Thanks for your time

*update *

Okay, I had the car running and took the coil packs off the cyclinders one by one, each one caused the car to stall except the back middle one (dont know the number), I exchanged that one with each coil on the car, each time I put that *bad* pack on a cyclinder it caused that cyclinder to die.

So here's what Im thinking. That one cyclinder was the one that was missing the whole time, but with the EGR ports clogged is was giving me a reading of all cyclinders misfiring.

Im thinking if I changed that one coil pack that the car wouldnt miss anymore.

Thoughts? Does this scienaro sound plausible?

The coil pack should have been the first thing you checked instead of going through all that other stuff. When any car missfires mor than likely its the coilpack(from experience).
