Hi im new to the site i have a problem i have a 2003 acura tl type s and my transmission is going i am wondering which way would be better to fix to just rebuilt it or to swap it out with a 2007 honda accord transmission or 2006 acura tl transmission plz help

best to use a certain accord or oddesy trans
gen3 tl has many of our trans problems

its about 500-750 for used trans and 500 to install it for you
rebuild current trans 2500 and same oiling problems

either way use only honda dw1 atf and change at least 3qts once a year (capacity 7.3 for the TL)

Yeah, get the '06>'07 Accord V-6's...... 5 speed AT.
It'll fit and is an improved design over the original TL trannys.
