removing door panels and also what ppl did to replace the rain shield for factory speakers whats was involved with putting after market speakers

theres only 2 screws on each door panel..( one under the screw cap where the door handle is and one in the hole under the arm rest)...remove the 2 screws and pull gently on every side thats clipped on the door.

i replaced my stock speakers with some 6.5" kenwood speakers and used the protector from the stock speakers. i had to cut the 3 things that stick out of them though in order to align the new speaker holes with the holes on the protector. it was easy....i replaced all the speakers in less than 30 minutes.
