I posted this is the main forum only because this one doesn't get as much traffic but here is my problem
As some of you may remember, I installed the OEM Nav in my non Nav TL. Well, I am still having some problems. All the wiring and operations work fine with a couple exceptions. The DVD unit that I had before the one I have now was jumpy. For example when it would say how many miles till next manuever, the #'s would jump back and forth by .3...so like 3.7, 3.6, 3.7, 3.6, 3.5, 3.7 and so on. And I could actually see the my "car" on the map moving back a little and then would move forward. I brought it to the dealer and they said that the internal gyro was bad. So, now I bought another one and it is doing the same thing. I am looking for other people to tell me this is not normal before I see about getting my $$ back. I wouldn't mind so much but the lady will repeat herself like 5 times when I get on the highway saying "drive approx 4 miles"...it's gets really annoying. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

Everyone knows the satellites can be a little off, but no, that's not normal.
