I have an intermittent clunking sound coming from the driver's side front. It only occurs at low speeds <5mph and mostly heard when driving in parking lots or rolling to a stop sign. If I increase the speed to anything >10mph, the clunk goes away. It's usually heard when driving straight, on a flat road and it doesn't matter if I'm on the accelerator or letting it coast.
I tried to isolate the cause of the clunk by driving over a speed bump, driveway lip or taking turns gradual and sharp and none of these would cause the clunking sound.

About my TL-S:
-lowered on Teins (highest height setting = camber at 0 with no camber kit required)
-Comptech front sway bar with moog endlinks
-Ingalls engine damper
-Everything else is stock including wheels
-Odometer is at 194k miles

I searched the forums and checked most of the "clunk" related solutions. Endlinks look good and intact. The shock bolts under the hood are tight including the one for the strut directly under the damper adjustment knob. Lifted the front end and shook the wheel with no play.

Ideas?

Ball joints, check those.

If the ball joint is ruined - can I replace just the joint or do I have to replace the whole upper/lower arm?
