My Temp gauge floats(not a good sign)!!!
When i'm driving I notice my temp gauge climbs up to "H"(I notice this when I hit the accelerator). Then a few sec later it goes back down to normal. I spoke to my mechanic about it and he mentioned that the Temp Gauge needs to be changed. He said it's an easy job. Where on the car is this unit that has to be changed? Has any1 here had this problem b4? Was it an easy fix?

first thing to do is check your fluid and make sure the coolant is full.

So I replaced the temp gauge and added the proper amout of antifreeze to my ride(enough to get everything flowing right again). My fan wasn't coming on for a min and that was a prob...my mechanic told me to put on the AC(after I had the heat @ 90 blowing full speed)and when I did that the fan came on. Found that to be weird, but it didn't come on when the heat was blowing hard.
He told me told me to go for a drive around the block and come back and as soon as I put it in drive......the stupid fan came on. So everything is good to go....
