My 99 3.2TL has Internal Transmission Failure

Hey guys for the last 2 years or so I have been noticing my 1999 Acura 3.2TL making hard shifts as I drive and accelerate from 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd gear... My fix for this was to drive the car in D3... which made the car shift somewhat smoother but still noticable tranny slippage... My engine light has been on for quite a while and went a local autozone and advance auto parts store and they told me the code read I had low transmission fluid , but my tranny fluid was at the correct levels...

So after a couple months I finally decide to take it into a Acura Service Center.. They run diagnostics and discover the that my car has Internal Transmission failure... FYI new tranny will cost $3600. How much longer do u think my car will last? And any suggestions on what I should do? My car has about 160,000 miles on it
