Maybe a Stupid Question?

I dunno could be me or what ever. Sounds like a stupid question, but i am curious. Does using the VSA use more gas...? I dunno, jus a question.....,

No. VSA uses the brakes and a 2nd throttle body butterfly to curb the power only when it senses that it needs to intervene

ummm... that's not always true, I'm sure we can all think of an example. Not implying that his was...

But anyway, I hadn't saw this post earlier so I thought that VSA didn't apply the brakes in certain situations until Kris mentioned it here.

And... I'm more afraid of the VSA kicking in that it not.

That's odd, why are you afraid of VSA activating aside from the fact if you push it (on dry pavement) to the point of activation you are driving way too fast?

Well you know, for instance when you first got the car... ummm... or test drove others first you might have tried to figure out what start out of a red light feels more under control...
