loud clunking while going over bumps and steering wheel turned.

i changed sway bar links and bushings front and back but the loud clunk will not go away.I don't hear it when i drive straight,but when i go over bumps and make a u-turn,sounds like something is broken. Ball joints are fine.

I'm in the same boat as you are, but my car shakes also. I'm thinking bent axle or tie rods.

sounds like one of your outter cv joints might be going bad
