so i lost my main set of keys and i have a backup inside for remote start but when i took it out and tried it cylinder woulnt turn i inspected the key and walmart didnt cut the key properly -__-, so i have lost keys before and have changed the key lock cylinders easily but never with a car that requires chip, would i need the car reprogrammed? or is it just plug and play like all other cars? any help would be appreciated

You would need to get it reprogrammed, Locksmith was gonna make me a
New key till he seen in the book that it needed to be reprogrammed he said and I quote "Youre fucked" lol good thing I found it though....
