driver side seat belt does not pull back all the way when released. how do i fix it?

 

usa cars have seat belt `special 10year/150kmiles warranty` for non retracting prob
call dealer

 

car has about 166xxx on it and its 99 tl.

 

ck the diy section for seatbelt--there are a couple things that can be self repaired if something jammed in the gear or whatever spring..??

its suggested to try those before going to the dealer anyway..to be sure its warranty, not gum

i finally fixed it.... belt was twisted from inside which is why it was partially retracting.
