My cruise control hasnt been working on my 01 tl since i bought it and ive been reading around this site for a fix. Some people have talked about fuses or motors not working. Last night when i was taking a look at mine, i realized that the cable that comes from the little black box on the left hand side of the engine bay is the throttle for cruise control. Mine was completely undone near the throttle body. This was causing the CC motor to engage, but it wasnt pulling the throttle at all because it was completely detatched. This is a simple fix, all you have to do is make the line from the black cruise control box have more tension near the TB, and put the CC cable back in the slot. Sorry if I'm a little too late, or if this was well known, but i was excited when i fixed mine lol. Have a look at your car to see if you have the same problem as me, because its a simple fix instead of going to the dealer. If anyone is confused as to what im talking about, ill try to get a pic up tommorow.
