Hey guys,

My car start leaking oil from top gasket. I am thinking of replacing the gasket and at the same time clean the egr port too.

So, can you guys let me know what parts I need to buy to get this job done please? I searched through the forum, but can't find it yet.

For 99 TL, you will need new gasket definitely, and Egr upgrade kit from dealer; or you can just clean the egr without the kit is up to you.

for the gasket, what part number is it ? or just just go to honda part dept telling them what you are trying to do then they know exactly what part to give you?

I am thinking of knowing the part number now, so I can order online, so that I save the trip to Honda dealer. thx.

You can tell them and they will get you what you need. If your issue is the head gasket, I think the part # is: 12341-P8A-A00, about 7 bucks.
