I have the AV6 Magnaflow catback, and was just wondering is there supposed to be little leaks around the clamped area's?

If it leaks , apply some exhaust ciment to the joints then clamp it.

Why would there be any clamps on an exhuast system. Shouldn't it be all welds, bolts and gaskets?
