knocking by front right tire
just replaced my springs and struts all around yesterday and i still hear a knocking coming from my front tires, louder from the front right.
2000 tl-p has 150,000 miles, i only notice the knocking when the wheel is turned hard to either direction AND while going over a bump. rims and all suspension peices (except for springs and struts) are still stock but im guessing maybe the tie rod ends are at the end of their life? i remember hearing this knocking sound a few thousand miles ago and thought it was just time to change the struts. any ideas?

Are you hearing it when you hit a bump or only when turning it. It could be a few things. Start by having your balljoints inspected. They are starting to get old for many and failing. Look at the end links, and have the tie rod ends inspected as well

as far as speed, i never have the wheel turned to its lock at any high speeds so i cant say anything about that but i can say somewhere around 5-15mph it is noticable. yes i was thinking about tie rod ends since they function particularly with the steering, maybe i can use the inspection as an excuse to get the eibach anti roll kit while the mechanic is down there ^^

If you dont hear it constant i kinda doubt it is the tie rod ends. Do you hear it driving straight or just with the whel turned?

Something is missing...my
have you gotten under the car. If/when you do, look the sway bar over from end to end paying particular attention to the points where the sway bar is held to the frame and at the very end of each side where rubber is. Inspect that rubber closely. All the bushings along the bar. Report your findings.
